About me
I'm a Guatemalan translator specialized in Healthcare, Education, and Community Outreach. I also have a Master's Degree in Audiovisual Translation. I'm studying community interpretation with the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS). I recently moved to the US, so becoming an interpreter will allow me to serve better the Spanish-speaking population in my community. I'm a member of the American Translators Association (ATA), NAMS, the American Association of Translators and Interpreters in Education (AAITE). I also host “El café de la tarde” in YouTube, where I have conversations (in Spanish) with colleagues from different translation/interpretation specialties.
